Refresh and advance your knowledge in the field of youth recreation by
attending the Native American Recreation & Sport Institute (NARSI) training.
The classes are presented by the American Recreation Resource and Education
Center, Inc. (ARREC.) Due to the number of textbooks and the period of
time required for shipment, the registration deadline of June 6, 2008
must be honored. After June 6th a late fee of $50.00 will be
applied. Registrations will not be accepted after June 10,
2008.

Meetings and lodging are at AVI Resort & Casino, 10000 Aha Macav Pkwy, Laughlin, NV. To receive the ARREC/NARSI room rate let the hotel know you are with the ARREC/NARSI room block so you will receive this rate. CLASS INFORMATION
NAYRSA (Native American
Recreation Sport Administration) is a 3-day course. The workshop is
designed to assist leaders in the development and enhancement of youth
recreation activities. Learn how to recruit and select coaches and how to
work with parents and officials. NAYRSA registration fee includes the
NAYRSC workshop. Fee includes a lunch, refreshment breaks, textbooks,
video, study materials, testing, and follow up. $495.00 per person.
NAYRSC (Native American Youth Recreation Sport Coach) is a two day course. This program of study covers such subjects as the purpose of youth sports, safety, team meetings with parents, practice schedules, and other areas of youth sports. Fee includes refreshment breaks, textbooks, video, study materials, testing, and follow up. $345.00 per person
CPR & First Aid certificates are required to complete NAYRSA & NAYRSC. Turn
them in at class time or send to ARREC at a later date.
Agenda: Registration will be at the meeting room prior to class. Classes start promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17 through Wednesday and Thursday. NAYRSC starts on June 18 at 9:00 a.m. and continues on June 19. Cutting any portion of a class requires an automatic repeat of all classwork. Please make your plans accordingly. Casino and resort sight seeing will be after class – not during.
